Canning corn and doing my "B90 days" reading

I am so enjoying the Bible reading. I confess I had gotten away from regular reading in recent years. This challenge has renewed me in ways I can’t explain. I have shifted my priorities. I started late so I had to make time for a lot less TV and other distractions while gardening, canning, making jelly and the other stuff one does here in eastern KY this time of year. But I find myself watching my pressure canner with my Bible in my hand. It works for me.

Read my Bible today

I read all the ways through 2 Kings and started on 1 Chronicles today. I am in AWE of our Lord who had so much patience with Israel who over and over again put up their idols and went back to pagan worship. I cannot understand why they did that. What was their reward?

I had to go to the doctor today so took my Bible along. Sure enough they were behind so I got tomorrow covered today also.

I am reading I Kings Ch2 today. Just a little ahead of the b90days schedule but after being behind for so long and reading so much to catch up, it's hard to slow down.

I am enthralled with the story.

I am so happy to report that I am CAUGHT UP with my B90 Day reading. I am so enjoying it. There has hardly been any TV on at my house for the last 2 weeks. Thank you Lord Jesus.

Beautiful Friday Morning

Starting Chapter 11 in Deuteronomy. I don't know how God ever got that many stubborn stiff necked people across the desert. We forget how massive the job was until we read it again from start to finish.

I picked beans last night and my neck is in PAIN! My doctor said not to do it but what am i going to do? Break my neck in the wreck but the beans need picking.

Reading Bible in 90 Days-Hanging in there

Hello all you gals (guys too). I am almost finished with Leviticus. I will finish it today. I am canning tomatoes and reading the Bible while the canner processes. I feel so dedicated.

I'm in Leviticus!

I am still behind but I am in Leviticus. It's a little wordy and repetitious but I am finding little new things I didn't know.

I Have finished Exodus 33. It's like a fresh new story even though i know the all of it. Will I ever catch up?

I can't believe its Friday. I got my beans standing back up today. They had blown down in the storms this week. Someone came to help me today finally. With the damage to my deck from the wreck I am having a really hard time. My friwend Judy suggested yesterday that perhaps God is trying to say "slow down, sit down, rest and pray." I think she is right.

I am still reading, trying to catch up!

I have almost finished reading Genesis. I got started my Reading the Bible in 90 Days Challenge later than others but I will catch up.

I studied both Old and New Test in college and have read it my entire life but I am having A-HA moments at new things I am reading. I guess I didnt know

I am excited about the new Challenge I heard about last week. I'm a little slow getting started but I signed up and started reading last night. I hope to post a copy of the schedule somewhere here if I can figure out how. LL
